Study Abroad - Program Fees

Below are costs for all IAU programs and locations. 

Please Note: Program costs shown below may not be applicable to students from IAU's partner institutions. If you are not sure if you attend a partner institution, please contact your study abroad office for accurate cost information. Students should be aware that their institution may add additional fees to their final invoice and should contact their institution for billing questions if they fall into this category.

J-TERM TRAVELING SEMINARS

POLICIES/COSTS FOR ALL PROGRAMS

  • A $1,000 grant, deducted from the spring semester invoice, is provided to qualified students who enroll for both fall and spring semesters at any IAU program.
  • A $1,250 grant, deducted from the Session C invoice, is provided to qualified students who enroll for both a Session B and Session C summer session at two of IAU's locations (for example: Aix-en-Provence and Barcelona; Tangier and Aix-en-Provence).
  • Students who enroll in a January Term Seminar and the spring semester at one of IAU's locations consecutively are eligible to receive a $2,000 grant credited to their spring semester invoice. In order to be eligible to receive the grant, students must participate in the Early Start Program during the week between the end of the January Term Seminar and the start of the spring semester.
  • An additional fee of $150 will be charged for each course in the following disciplines: Wine Studies, Food, and Photography, including cross-listed courses. *The additional fee for Photography in Barcelona does not apply.
  • Additional student costs include round-trip airfare, any meals not included in chosen housing option, visa fees, and personal expenses. For J-Term programs, students should expect to purchase their textbooks.

Early Start Program

Semester students in Aix-en-Provence, France, Barcelona, Spain, and Madrid, Spain are invited to join IAU for an optional week-long Early Start Program before their fall or spring semester abroad.
