Applications Now Open for Spring 2027
Deadline to Apply: September 30, 2026
Are you interested in returning to ACM-IAU to share what you know about student life in Aix, Barcelona, or Madrid? As a student at ACM-IAU, surely you remember how much a mentor on-site (and your age!) was a welcomed contact. Students often arrive not knowing exactly what to expect of the city, school, or culture. As a means for recent graduates to gain teaching and international education experience, ACM-IAU offers the Alumni Fellows Program to those ACM-IAU alumni willing to offer mentorship to the body of students in Aix, Barcelona, or Madrid for a semester or academic year.
- Personal Details
- Passport
- ACM-IAU Faculty Reference Email
- Headshot Photo
- Resume/CV
- Personal Statement (no more than 2 pages double-spaced, typed) highlighting your experience as a student with ACM-IAU and your motivations for returning to participate in the Alumni Fellow Program. See question prompts below to help structure your personal statement:
- What would you like to contribute to ACM-IAU as an alumni mentor and guide for incoming students?
- How could you offer support for current staff?
- What projects would you like to propose and create while at ACM-IAU?
- What skills or experience do you have that would be relevant to this experience?
Select applicants will be offered an interview after the application deadline. Around 1-2 months after the deadline, all candidates will be notified via email of the decision of their application. Accepted candidates will begin the visa process and preparations for arrival.
