Pre-Departure Requirements - ParisBefore students begin their semester, summer, or academic year in Paris, France, there are several items that need to be submitted to IAU's U.S. Office. Please complete these in a timely manner. Below there are links to several important documents that need to be submitted electronically or downloaded, printed, completed, and returned to IAU's U.S. Office via fax or email using the contact information on the form.

Physician Statement and Wellness and Accommodations Questionnaire - In order to better assist students while abroad, we request that students complete the Physician Statement and Health Questionnaire. This information will allow IAU to provide support should health/mental health concerns arise during the study abroad experience, and particularly in the event of a health emergency. IAU may request additional documentation from students’ health care provider as part of their application. This documentation will provide guidance to IAU on how to best support students during their participation in the program.
Financial Assistance Form - If you are paying IAU College directly and relying on financial assistance to cover all or a portion of your IAU tuition and fees, please download the Financial Assistance Form, complete your portion, and then have a financial aid advisor from your home instruction complete their section and return to IAU. Please upload your completed form through your student portal.
Travel Itinerary - Please complete the online form through your student portal.
IAU Post Acceptance Waivers - Please complete the online form through your student portal.
Program Deposit - For students invoiced by IAU directly for the program deposit, the remainder of your nonrefundable deposit of $800 is due within two weeks of acceptance. The deposit secures your course registration and homestay placement. These placements will not be secure until this payment is made. You can pay your deposit by check or credit card. Smart Traveler Enrollment Program - IAU recommends that all students register with the U.S. State Department's Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). By enrolling in this system, the U.S. Embassy can keep students updated with important safety and security announcements. It will also help family and friends get in touch during an emergency.
