Aix-en-Provence, France

Semester and Summer Terms
The School of Humanities & Social Sciences, The French Honors Program, The Marchutz School of Fine Arts, and The School of Business & International Relations program fees include tuition, housing, breakfast daily and six evening meals per week, activity fee, orientation, textbook rental, health, liability and repatriation insurance, excursions and scheduled cultural activities. Additional student costs include round-trip airfare, lunch, and personal expenses.

Fee note: For students enrolling in the Marchutz School of Fine Arts during the summer 2019 term, a studio art fee will also be applied. The cost is $230 for the 3 credit term, $385 for the 6 credit term, and $505 for the 9 credit term.

Fee note: Students enrolling at the Marchutz School of Fine Arts will be responsible for the art supply and trip fee of $1,080 for Fall 2018 / Spring 2019 and of $1,160 for the Fall 2019 / Spring 2020 terms.

There will be an additional fee of $260 for School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Business and International Relations, and French Honors Program students who wish to take a course at the Marchutz School of Fine Arts in either the fall or spring semester.

An additional fee of approximately $750 per semester is also required for qualified students who wish to enroll in courses for credit at l'Université de Provence Aix-Marseille I, the local French university.

A $150 fee per course will apply to any Wine Studies (WS) or Photography course, including cross-listed courses.

*Students who enroll in the 18-week semester option will attend a January Term Seminar and the spring semester in Aix-en-Provence consecutively. The 18-week semester cost listed above includes a $2,000 grant credited to their spring semester invoice. In order to be eligible to receive the grant, students must participate in the Early Start Program during the week between the end of the January Term Seminar and the start of the spring semester. The Early Start Program allows students to move in with their French hosts a week before the semester begins, receive French language instruction, and participate in local cultural activities! Early Start Program

Semester students in Aix are invited to join IAU for an optional week-long, early-start program before their fall or spring semester abroad. Students from The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, The French Honors Program, The School of Business and International Relations, and The Marchutz School of Fine Arts are all encouraged to participate. Paris, France

Semester Term
Program Fees include tuition, housing with a French family, breakfast and dinner every day but Sunday, excursions every 1-2 weeks including an overnight excursion to either Vallée de la Loire or Normandy each semester, academic credits for a full course load, official transcript, internet access at Reid Hall, monthly public transportation pass, airport pickup at CDG airport at a designated arrival time/date, medical insurance, on-site director, visa advising, pre-departure and on-site orientation. Additional student costs include airfare, books, student visa if required, daily lunch, meals on Sunday, meals on excursions (breakfast may be provided on overnight trips) and personal expenses.
