Mail and Care Packages

In general, it is is not advisable to send packages abroad to students, particularly those whose contents are valuable or time-sensitive, since there is a great risk for delays in shipment and in processing by customs. Most items that students may have accidentally left behind or need can be purchased affordably and easily onsite. In the event, however, that you wish to send mail, details on doing so can be found below.


Aix-en-Provence

Mail for students should be sent by regular airmail to:

Should a package be sent via FedEx, the following address should be used:

In general all packages sent from the US are subject to duty charges. These charges may be avoided if the sender clearly marks packages "Articles usagés pour étudiants." The package should also be declared as a gift on the small green customs sticker.

In either case, the value of a package's contents should be declared as $25 or less if you do not wish to pay customs.
