Bachelor's and Master's Programs

Courses

Course availability is a large part of the choice to study abroad with IAU. The breadth and depth of courses available at IAU allows students from all disciplines ample opportunity to continue their path of study from their home university as well as try something new while abroad.

IAU courses are offered in both English and the host language (French, Spanish, Italian, or Arabic), so students do not need to have a background in language study. However, IAU does require or strongly encourages students to enroll in a minimum of one language course during most semester programs. Certificate programs are available as well as Honors Programs, internships, and independent studies.

Students work with an IAU Advisor and their home university to select their courses before the start of the term in the student portal, and schedules are confirmed prior to arrival abroad.

Please use the left side navigation pane to find your preferred programs course offerings and syllabi.

Course Change Request: course change requests can generally be submitted to the U.S. Office of Admissions up until 45 days prior to the start of the program, but this varies by location and term. Students should refer to pre-departure guides for specific timelines.

Add/Drop
: the add/drop period takes place during the first days of classes at each of our sites and varies based on course and program enrollment. See the academic policies here for more details.
